  • Ah - found the instructions for my pedometer... it clearly says "Determine the length of your average stride. Do this by starting with your heels on a mark, take 10 steps forward in a straight line. Mark the toe line on the tenth stride. Measure the distance in inches. Divide by 12 to get feet and then by 10 to get your average stride." Arghhhh! Long division!

Some of our young people also encapsulated their thoughts in a RAP session:

Hi everybody I want to talk about unity.

We need to get together and make our own community.

Bahá'u'lláh

Don't forget about the *AH* don't go to jail

Now listen to my partner, y'all know what is

you might think he's all that with milkshake and some fizz

I came to Bahá'í Camp, I thought it would be boring

I couldn't go to sleep because Corey keep snoring

I learned about the Hidden Words if Adversity befall

My foot was swollen and I still was walking to the meeting hall!

Hi my name is Ifeanyi and I came to RAP

you need to learn Bahá'u'lláh's words ASAP

If someone tries to [pause] start a fight with me

Let make with UNITY A. S. A. P.
