  • Ever wonder where the song "Soon will all that dwell on Earth..." came from? It originated at our own Georgia School in the 1960's! Van Gilmer attended the Georgia Bahá'í summer school in the ‘60s, and heard a talk by Hand of the Cause Khadem. In the talk, Mr. Khadem must have been speaking about the glorious future of the Cause, and he mentioned the passage from the Writings: "Soon will all that dwell on earth be enlisted under these banners." Mr. Khadem followed that by saying, "Yá-Bahá’u’l-Abhá!," which, according to Van, he often did. Then Mr. Khadem expressed the wish that someone write a song using this passage from the Writings.

So Van composed the song: Soon will all that dwell on earth / be enlisted under these banners / Yá-Bahá’u’l-Abhá!

  • One exciting announcement is that Kevin Locke will be performing at the school for children and the whole school. We are hoping to have Kevin help us to understand an American Indian tradition of saying prayers through motion.
